This project will construct a 75 MW steam combined cycle power plant based on the Sirajganj 150MW simple cycle.

The unit adopts the V94.2 single-shaft gas-turbine driven generator set supplied by Ansaldo. The layout design and optimization was done via the 3D design software named PDMS.

Sirajganj 1×150MW Peaking Power Plant is located on the north bank of Jamuna River, Bangladesh. Its the first gas-turbine power station of North-West Power Generation Co., Ltd. The unit adopts the SGT5-PAC2000E single-shaft gas-turbine driven generator set(dual-fuel)supplied by Siemens.

Located in Palash of Narsingdi Province of Bangladesh, Ghorasal 300MW-450MW combined-cycle gas turbine power station project is invested and built by the Electric Power Development Authority of Bangladesh with a engineering scale of the mode of combined-cycle power generation sets formed by SIEMENS SCC5-4000F gas turbine of Germany+ SGen5-1200A gas turbine and power generator, 1 set of heat recovery boiler and 1 set of steam turbine. The net output of combined-cycle performance guarantee is 300-450MW after power station is built.

Siraganj 225MW combined-cycle gas-fired power plant (Bangladesh) is located in the west of JAMUNA multi-functional bridge of Sirajganj area of Bangladesh, 125 km away from Dacca, the capital of Bangladesh. The engineering construction 1×225 MW class combined-cycle gas generator set (Dual-fuel operation is adopted) includes 1 set of gas turbine generation set, 1 set of heat recovery boiler and 1 set of steam turbine generation unit. Under the condition of referring working condition, the total net output of combined-cycle unit is 225MW. Bangladesh Northwest Electric Power Company Limited (Hereinafter referred to as NWPGCL) is the owner. The joint venture of China National Machinery Import and Export Corporation FEDI is the general contractor.

The project is located in Ghorasal Area, Bangladesh. The objective of this project is to improve the thermal efficiency by transfering conventional regenerative thermal cycle into Combined cycle .When it is completed, the net power output under performance guarantee condition could reach 416MW, and the thermal efficiency could increase by nearly 20%. The basic design of the project is jointly performed by Fujian Electric Power Survey & Design Institute and Indian GE Company., detail design will be carried out by FEDI , GE play a role as technical lead ship during the detail design stage . The engineering and management will comply with GE company international stand.

The project is carried out through joint construction of Bangladesh Northwest Power Generation Co., Ltd.(NWPGCL) and China National Machinery Import and Export (Group) Corporation (CMC).2×660MW super-critical coal-fired power station is built in Barishal, the south city of Bangladesh, and both China-Bangladesh parties share accounted for is 50%, with a total investment of project of about 2.2 billion dollars. EPC contract contractor is the Joint venture of Tohoku Electric Power First Engineering Company and SINOMEC. 2 sets of units are expected to be put into operation and generate electricity on June of 2020.

The construction contents of transforming station of the project include 3 sub-projects as follows: 3 interval extension projects of Salavan 115 kV transforming station, Salavan II interval extension project of Sekong 115 kV transformer substation and Salavan I, II interval extension project of Mengpin 115 kV transforming station, and 115 kV line (170km). The project design is carried out according ot Laos standards, Chinese standards and relevant IEC standards.

home-entry connection project of SinohydroCorporation.Therein, the distribution network engineering includes 15kV, 30kV medium-voltage power line and 0.4kV low-voltage area project.The newly-built medium-voltage line is about 500KM; there are 1000 areas, about 2200km of low-voltage line totally, and about 300000 households of home-entry connection.
