Phase-I Project of Pingtan Wind Farm(10×0.6MW + 50×2MW)

Ten 0.6MW MKIV-model wind power generator sets manufactured by Bazan Company of Spain with the technology of Bonus from Denmark were installed for the Phase-I Project of Pingtan Changjiangao Wind Farm. The project was brought into production in October 2000. It boasts a total capacity of 6MW, annual utilization hours of over 2,500, and wind turbine towers as high as 50 meters, the tallest then in China. The project won the State Power Corporation Excellent Engineering Design award and the bronze prize for National Excellent Engineering Design. 

Fifty 2MW V80-2MW wind power generator sets with a total capacity of 100MW manufactured by Vestas Company from Denmark were installed for the Phase-II Project of Pingtan Changjiangao Wind Farm. The project is included in China Renewable Energy Scale-up Program(CRESP)and it is one of Chinas first batch large-scale wind power projects financed by World Bank.

Xianyou Caoshan Wind Farm

Xianyou Caoshan Wind Farm has an altitude of 950-1235 meters, making it the first high-altitude inland mountainous wind farm in Fujian. With a total construction scale of 36MW, this project involved the construction of 24 grid-connecting 1.5MW wind generating sets, and total investment reaching RMB 332.27 million. The project design well resolve difficulties such as large altitude difference, wind resource evaluation across  complex terrain, wind turbine selection, micro-siting, traffic engineering arrangement, transport of large-sized equipment, grounding for lightening, etc., allowing good coordination between wind farm construction and ecological environment protection.

 

Liuao Offshore Wind Farm

This project is located in the southeastern sea area of Liuao Peninsula in Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. The project site is divided into A, B and C zones to be installed with 300MW, 200MW and 300MW turbines respectively. The pre-feasibility study report has passed the review of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd, making it the first offshore wind farm project passing the review of competent technical authority in Fujian Province. 

Given the complex submarine relief and geologic conditions and the difficulties in foundation selection, FEDI has adopted the solution integrating elevated pile foundation, socketed pile foundation and gravity type foundation. Its the first time to apply gravity type foundation in China, thus offering useful reference for similar projects.

 

Putian Shicheng Wind Farm

Putian Shicheng Wind Farm Phase-I & Phase-II Project features a total installed capacity of 98MW. The Phase-I project has an installed capacity of 40MW and involved the installation of 20 V80-2.0MW wind turbines supplied by Vestas Wind Technology (China) Co., Ltd. It was completed and put into production in December 2009. The Phase-II project has an installed capacity of 48MW and involved the installation of 7 V80-2.0MW wind turbines and 17 G87CS-2.0MW wind turbines. It was completed and put into production in October 2013. This wind farm boasts superior technical parameters, with all operating indexes taking the lead in China. In 2010, its power generation hours exceeded provincial average by 36% and national average by 75%, thus achieving favorable economic benefits and social benefits. This project has awarded the second prize for excellence engineering & survey design of Fujian Province.

 

Fuqing Jiangyin Wind Farm

 

Guodian Fuqing Jiangyin Wind Farm utilizes the existing vacant land of Jiangyin Power Plant to install wind turbines inside the breakwaters and the ash yard, with total installed capacity reaching 14MW. This project was completed in March 2014. Taking good account of the overall layout design of Jiangyin Power Plant, the wind farm and the power plant bring out the best in each other, allowing harmonious development between the wind farm and the thermal power plant, not to mention the intensive and comprehensive use of land to provide good reference for the development and construction of alike wind farms.

 

Jinjiang Jinjing Wind Farm

With total installed capacity reaching 32MW, Jinjiang Jinjing Wind Farm involved the installation of 16 XE82-2.0 wind turbines and was put into production in September 2012. Adjacent to Jinjiang Shenhu Bay National Geo-Park, this project organically integrates the wind turbines with the island landscape to successfully build an extraordinary tourist attraction.

 

Jinjiang Integrated Photovoltaic Power Generation Project


Jinjiang Integrated Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in Jinjiang Gas-fired Power Plant of Jinjing Town, Jinjiang City. This project utilizes the vacant roofs and green space of the power plant to install 4488 260Wp polysilicon modules. Upon completion, Jinjiang Gas-fired Power Plant will become a clean-energy demonstration base integrating natural gas power, wind power and photovoltaic power. FEDI is the EPC contractor of this project.

 

Huadian Xiamen Jimei Distributed Energy Station

Located in Houxi Industrial Park of Jimei, Xiamen, this project plans to construct 4 sets of LM2500+G4 gas-steam combined cycle units, with total capacity reaching 140MW. The Phase-I project involves the construction of one LM2500+G4 gas-turbine generator set, one dual-pressure exhaust-heat boiler, one 1.7MW back-pressure steam turbine generator set, and two 20t/h peak-regulation standby gas-fired boiler, with installed generating capacity reaching 32MW and design heat load being 51t/h. 

It is the first natural gas distributed energy station constructed in Fujian Province, with energy efficiency reaching as high as 85%, boasting superior environmental benefits.

 

Pucheng Sunner Biomass Power Plant

 

Located in Wanan Village, Pucheng County, Fujian Province, this project involved the construction of 2×15MW biomass generator sets and a reserved area for the future expansion of 1×15MW biomass generator set. As a supporting project for the table poultry industrial chain of Sunner Development(Pucheng)Co., Ltd, this project utilizes the chicken manure-chaff mixture supplied by the chicken farm as the biomass for power generation. Its listed as a key project of Fujian Province in 2013. 

This biomass power plant will consume about 290,100 tons of chicken manure-chaff admixture and agricultural wastes per year, thus saving 100,000 tons of standard coal. Power generation through the biomass combustion not only changes wastes into valuables, but also addresses the adverse impacts caused by chicken manure on the local environment, while the post-combustion ash can also serve as the raw material for organic fertilizer factories, thus developing an industrial chain and allowing comprehensive, efficient and cyclic utilization of resources to bring about superior economic benefits and environmental benefits.  This project was granted the first prize for excellent engineering consultation achievements of Fujian Province in 2013.
